A Friend Is A Friend Is A Friend
What is a friend that makes no amends?
A friend that steals,
A friend that sneaks and a friend that squeals?
What is a friend that will do what is wrong?
That is a friend who will always be gone.
Would not a friend be there?
Would not a friend always care?
Would not a friend help pull you through
During the dark times, as though they knew.
Because he and she seemingly knows
What their friend goes through and woes.
A friend will not say no to this.
A friend will not say no to that.
A friend will help you get what you want
And when you have it they will stand back
To watch from the sidelines, watching you smile.
To stand on the sidelines, gleaming like a child.
For they know they helped in your cause.
For they know they helped with your search.
The never-ending search:
A happily ever after.
Though you may not know it,
The happily ever after had already come.
What is better then being happy, not having a fit?
With that friend, that was there forever and then some.

Searched for so hard to achieve
Was right in front of you the whole time
With the friend that always believed.

Anyways, this is from a way way long time ago. It's the same thing as here: [link] except that a friend of mine pointed out that I had never submitted a deviation of just the poem, and a couple of people had told me before that I should, so I am. This is from a little bit before April 2008.
